MAG Aerospace is seeking a professional Software Engineer Team Lead to collaborate with system users, requirements owners, and developmental contractors to translate operational requirements into software requirements, designs, and implementations. 

This is an opportunity to be involved in the newly formed PM Cyber & Space and be a part of the rapidly growing Cyber Infrastructure Product Office responsible for key capabilities within the offensive cyber operations world. 

MAG is currently looking to hire a Subject Matter Expert to support their C5ISR customer located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.  This position is contigent upon award currently.  This project will support Army Modernization initiatives through protype research, development and testing efforts.  

The Systems Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) will spearhead the design, development, documentation, and testing of various systems including computing and networking, communications, aircraft avionics, flight control, and ground control stations. Responsibilities encompass the development and analysis of system requirements, creation of system architecture, both preliminary and detailed system design, specification and test procedure formulation, execution of system and subsystem integration and testing, generation of system documentation, and performance of formal system acceptance testing.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with delivering recommendations and solutions utilizing their proven expertise. This role is remote, but will require travel due to all testing taking place at the Tobyhanna Army Depot in Pennsylvania.

This position will mainly apply systems engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate multi-domain awareness systems in remote international locations, subjected to extreme environmental conditions for continued improvement and maximum effectiveness in real world applications. 

This Position will work out of PAX River NAS.. Patuxent River, MD AND Will Deploy when needed

Expect 2-3 week deployments at a time

Expect to deploy approximately 10 times

This position will be salaried and pay will NOT depend on how many deployments are made and additional $$$ added to specific deployment parameters

MAG Aerospace is seeking to hire a QA Test Engineer to join our team in Tobyhanna, PA! 

In this position, you will be part of a MAG Engineering Team that creates test plans, procedures, and executes test events on numerous SATCOM software-centric systems for a large Army program. Additional duties will include troubleshooting issues to determine root cause analysis and produce recommended courses of action for remediation. Daily customer interaction within government facilities will be typical.

Ths opportuity will include testing software solutions, analyzing the needs of users, taking lead on software developments and documenting programs. This system provides threat intelligence in support of critical large-scale DoD exercises.

You may also act as a project lead in the development of engineering procedures and controls. Your extensive experience with NAVAIR SETR and technology acquisition processes will enable you to review and evaluate technological requirements and products.
