MAG Aerospace is seeking an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) crewmember for the Aerosonde platform. In this position, you will be responsible for safe aircraft operation which includes but is not limited to maintaining diligent lookout and listening doctrine with available sensors, radios, and other ground control station equipment; following air traffic control clearances; maintaining safe and positive control of the air vehicle during all phases of flight; taking appropriate actions during emergencies; operating sensors onboard aircraft; assisting Mission Commander and Mission Coordinator with flight mission planning and briefings as directed; computing takeoff/landing data via standard operating procedures; as well as utilizing checklists and other standardized manuals.
The mission of the MEP technician is to provide 24/7 PME maintenance support to sustain 100% Fully Mission Capable (FMC) status and mission readiness to support ISR operations for the ATHENA-R Program. The MEP technician is responsible to configure and monitor the satellite hub operations to maintain connectivity and ensure continuous operational support. The MEP technician is responsible for ensuring 100% mission readiness for multiple ISR sensors to include but not limited to radar, ELINT, SIGINT, COMINT and BLoS systems. The MEP Technician must always ensure proper documentation of all aircraft PME maintenance and changes.
Conduct real-time layered analysis of data from a variety of collection assets, delivers intelligence products during the execution of combat and sustainment operations. Conducts sensor control and will communicate that information to ground force commanders during the execution of decisive operations. Consult with program engineers as required to plan and execute operations in a manner commensurate with operational capabilities. Understanding system operation and employment tactics, techniques, and procedures to optimize system employment. Provide support to management on an as required basis.
Acts as an Operational Specialist (OS) supporting program flight operations as an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Subject Matter Expert (SME) working in a small, close-knit crew environment providing expertise in support of mission requirements. Coordinate with DoD entities and agencies to facilitate cutting-edge product development to ensure client capabilities meet current and future objectives. Shall have strong knowledge of ISR operations, air navigation, aircraft mission planning, and the key factors in aircraft survivability. Recent operational experience is a must. Must be comfortable with managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and possess the ability to complete assignments with little or no supervision. Requires deployments up to four months in length to remote sites with austere conditions. Work will be in support of multiple Combatant Commands to include but not limited to EUCOM, Indo-PACOM and CENTCOM.
