MAG is seeking a resourceful Editor In Chief to provide oversight of the editorial and creative staff. The Editor in Chief shall ensure journalistic standards in accordance with industry best practices for commercial quality content development and publishing, while ensuring all content contain factual information, and supports the editorial ntent of Government publications

Minimum Requirements

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Significant experience in a leadership role within publishing or journalism is essential, along with strong editorial skills and the ability to make quick decisions

Minimum years of experience:

  • A minimum of ten years’ (10) experience directly managing professional journalists and creative staff across multiple publications (e.g., Newspapers, magazines, on-line publications) within editorial guidelines established by senior management.

Desired:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience working with foreign language versions translations to and from English language publications 

Education

  • High School

  • TS/SCI eligiblity 
  • Must be a US citizen.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $63750 to $106250 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
