Work under minimal to self-directed guidance of Quality Manager sustaining and continually improving the Quality Management System to satisfy all Customer, Regulatory, Safety and Corporate requirements in the 14 CFR 145 Repair Station
Create, maintain and direct Quality Control functions with a strong focus on required Audits and inspect to sustain and continually improve the Quality Management System to satisfy all Regulatory, AS9100, AS9102 First Article Inspection
Schedule, perform and provide guidance to Functional Managers on all required audits
Continually improve processes related to Quality, business goals, and objectives
Read and interpret Quality processes and Audits, Manufacture’s Maintenance manuals, Service Bulletins, Technical Data, and other specifications
Assist with the development and understanding of all employees to any and all quality requirements and audits as needed
Inspect to meet established inspection times without compromising quality
Meet Quality Auditing goals and objectives and various requirements
Responsible for the quality of Audits and schedule adherence as well as ensure quality fabricated parts, sub-assemblies and installations and/ or repairs to structure and avionics
Ensure that appropriate levels of Quality and compliance are met for all assigned work in a timely and cost-effective manner
Provide assistance in fabrication, technical and Quality support as required
Perform manufacturing and maintenance Quality activities for the effective management of organizational goals and objectives, configuration and document controls, work package execution, standard metrics within the department, and product quality
Verify that the specifications, manuals and other data used during inspection procedures are current and approved for use by Repair Station
Maintain positive professional relationships with peers, licensors, customers, and regulatory authorities
Direct qualified individuals to duties as assigned including leading teams as required
Follow Environmental Health and Safety Policy
Follow applicable Federal Regulations such as CFR 43, 65 & 145
Verify the status of calibrated tools to ensure that tools that are out of calibration are not used
Verify expiration dates on materials to ensure that materials that are expired are not used
Review work packages in depth to ensure that all required documents are included in the work order package and the package is complete
