Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is bidding on a high-level government satellite communications support program and recruiting for a Cybersecurity/RMF SME who will provide overall ISSM support in the execution of cybersecurity and RMF accreditation activities.

 

Performance location is Colorado Springs, CO

 

ALL positions concerning this effort are contingent upon contract award

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Function as cybersecurity/RMF experts for WSOMS.
  • Prepare, Categorize, Select, Implement, Assess, Authorize, and Monitor.
  • Manage organizational risk and ensure security controls are implemented, assessed, and continuously monitored.
  • Secure information systems and manage risks for both federal agencies and the private sector.
  • Automation: Using tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Continuous Monitoring: Ensuring the security posture is maintained as authorized.
  • System Development Life Cycle: Integrating security from the beginning of a system's life.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

 

Experience:

6-8 years experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or information security

4 years experience supporting DoD RMF accreditation for Moderate or High impact systems

 

Education:

Bachelor of Science in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or related tech field

 

Certifications:

DoD 8140 / 8570-compliant cybersecurity certification (e.g. Certified Information Systems

Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager Manager (CISM),

Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), CompTIA Security+)

 

Clearance:

Top Secret

US Citizenship required

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80500 to $149500 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
