Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is bidding on a high level government satellite communications support program and recruiting for a Program Manager who shall serve as the direct interface between the government and contractor personnel concerning all communications and actions. This is a multifaceted and multi-location program

 

The PM position will interface mainly between MAG hierarchy in Fairfax, VA and multiple work sites throughout the US.

 

ALL positions concerning this effort are contingent upon contract award 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
  • Prepare and completes action plans
  • Implement production, productivity, quality, and Customer Service standards
  • Resolve issues
  • Completes audits to identifying trends to determine system improvements and implement change where necessary
  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
  • Advise leadership on all matters related to program cost, schedule and performance
  • Assess, manage, and eliminate risk related to program cost, schedule and performance
  • Manages and assesses progress in assigned projects/programs, including cost, schedule, and performance supporting baseline requirements, by applying program management methods and procedures
  • Develop, oversee, and equip the workforce to support customer requirements
  • Overall responsible for the safety and security of the personnel supporting the customer

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

 

Experience:
10 years SATCOM or telecommunications experience.

 

Education:
Bachelor’s degree

 

Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certified or equivalent experience (at least 5 years
in management)

 

Clearance:
Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and program access
US Citizenship required

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80500 to $149500 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
