Position Summary

 

MAG is currently looking to hire a Sharepoint Administrator to support their C5ISR customer located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.  This position is contigent upon award currently. 

 

MAG Aerospace is seeking a SharePoint Administrator with at least 5 years’ experience will manage, enhance, and support an established SharePoint Online environment serving over 200 users. This role is responsible for ensuring the platform remains secure, well-organized and optimized for collaboration. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in sharePoint online, Power Platform integration, permissions governance and user support. This position plays a key role in improving site structure, maintaining workflows build in Power Apps and Power Automate and ensuring a reliable scalable digital workplace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage SharePoint Online site collections, hubs, subsites, lists, libraries, and content structures.

- Maintain and optimize metadata, content types, views, and document management practices.

- Oversee permissions and access control using SharePoint groups and Azure AD security groups.

- Monitor site performance, storage usage, and overall health.

- Implement improvements to site navigation, usability, and information architecture.

- Support, troubleshoot, and enhance Power Apps forms and applications connected to SharePoint.

- Maintain and optimize Power Automate workflows, including approvals, notifications, and data integrations.

- Monitor flow performance, error logs, and environment health.

- Collaborate with business users to refine automation and streamline processes.

- Provide Tier 2/3 support for SharePoint and workflow-related issues.

- Develop user guides, quick reference materials, and training sessions.

- Promote best practices for document management, collaboration, and workflow usage.

- Partner with business units to understand needs and translate them into SharePoint solutions.

Requirements

Requirements: MUST HAVE

 

- 3+ years of experience administering SharePoint Online environments.

- Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.

- Strong understanding of SharePoint permissions, governance, and information architecture.

- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Admin Center and SharePoint Admin Center.

- Experience with JSON formatting, PowerShell (PnP), and basic REST API usage.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues involving workflows, permissions, and integrations.

- Strong communication skills and ability to support a diverse user base.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

- Experience supporting 200+ user environments.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview (DLP, retention, sensitivity labels).

- Experience with Teams/SharePoint integration and content lifecycle management.

- Power BI experience for reporting and analytics.

- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-700, MS-600, PL-200, SC-900)

- Bachelors Degree

 

Education and Certification Requirements:

AA or 2-year technical school

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $95000 to $135000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
