Position Summary

MAG is seeking to hire a team member for ELINT analysis on complex waveforms associated with the ATHENA-R sensor package. Understand and discuss ELINT data validation requirements with the end users, document and track these requirements, and provide technical input to PED analysts with regards to fidelity, accuracy, and intended use as well as to act as liaison with aircrew and program leads.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Candidate must have prior SME-level experience with the sensors/systems listed below, from either an aircrew, ground operator, or flight test environment.
  • Working knowledge of ELINT analysis with the AE4500X or SS4000 sensor systems. Recent and relevant knowledge of tactics, training, and procedures for deployment of the sensors/systems listed above in a current combat environment.
  • Work with PED analysts to ingest and provide proper presentation of real-world ELINT parametric data.
  • Conducts specific technical duties on ATHENA-R Aircraft related to the ELINT sensor package, patching, SW upgrades, and troubleshooting may be required.
  • Installation, implementation, and configuration of mission systems.
  • Utilize various electronic test equipment to include specialized electronic test sets, multi-meters, power meters, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, Test, Measurement, & Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
  • Assist in developing and executing FSR/operational requirements, coordinate installation and upgrade schedules, and provide technical support as required.
  • Experienced in determining the cause and location of malfunctions, diagnosing the extent of faults, and conveying the level of maintenance required.
  • Navigate through and understand the use of complex Army technical manuals and be able to follow logical procedures with regard for consequences in problem solving; making calculations; and interpreting schematics in the use of high voltage equipment as it pertains to multiple ground-to-ground communications systems and subsystems.
  • Conducts specific sensor research, analysis, correlation, and assessment to reproduce relevant reports that may be needed for future P3I upgrades to the ATHENA-R Aircraft.

Knowledge and Skills

The required skills and knowledge include:

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to review and understand schematics for troubleshooting and repair requirements.
  • Experience with Airborne ISR Operations.
  • Supervise and instruct personnel in mission systems operation, maintenance, repair, and test procedures.
  • Prior experience working directly with the sensors listed above.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows / Linux / VMWare server and client software, patching, upgrading, and maintenance experience. 

The minimum years of related experience required:

  • Minimum of 6 to 10 years’ of relevant work experience.

Education

The minimum level of education required is:

  • BS/BA Degree

 Physical/Working Requirements 

  • International travel to customer locations required.
  • Must be willing and able to work irregular hours.
  • Must be willing and able to work in a predominately military environment.

Other Qualifications

 

Outside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include

  • Possess an Active U.S. DOD Top Secret security clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI Poly)
  • Must be able to obtain or maintain government eligibility requirements.
  • Meet DoD Theater Entry requirements.
  • Must have a valid US passport with no less than six months remaining.
  • Must be willing and able to deploy OCONUS.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $70000 to $130000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
