Position Summary

MAG is looking for a logistics specialist responsible for the oversight of the life cycle of products, including preparation, shipping and receiving. They offer support with the operations and maintenance of logistics policies, administer and maintain inventory control program systems and coordinate with the program manager to promote accurate and timely processing of orders. Additionally, the logistics manager will develop reports showing costs on precise projects and moves. This is a permanent OCONUS position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Conducts training in aviation property accountability, CAMP inventory management, and coordination of aviation logistics with Global 6500s.
  • Create fleet management tracker and scheduled maintenance tracker.
  • Maintain property records for company, customer, or Government property in accordance company and contract requirements and Government regulations from the date of acquisition through and beyond date of disposal.
  • Prepare and process appropriate forms to indicate ownership, property movement, in accordance with government regulations, contract requirements, and corporate policy.
  • Assist, conduct and/or lead physical inventories of property at various locations throughout the continental US and reconcile to company, customer, and government records and update appropriate records and tracking mechanisms as required.
  • Conduct and assist with audits of compliance in accordance with internal and external requirements. Facilitate proper disposal of property as required.
  • Create and/or enhance processes and procedures for the procurement and tracking of property.
  • Generate reports from property management and asset system as needed.
  • Assist with reconciliations and data transfers between property management/asset system and other systems.
  • Apply logistics principles and methods to specialized logistics solutions.Performs logistics database management functions.
  • Maintains and schedules equipment for Time Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) to ensure tool functionality.
  • Understanding of the Aviation Oil Analysis Program (AOAP)
  • Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

 

The required skills and knowledge include:

  • Strong MS Office experience
  • Demonstrated Organizational Skills
  • CAMP
  • Flight Docs
  • Firm understanding of the ISR industry and the critical nature of aviation supply chain
  • Ability to adapt to changing technology and train
  • Ability to work and lead a team of logisticians
  • Basic understanding of FAA rules and guidelines
  • 10+ years of aviation logistics
  • 8+ years of aviation logistics management

Education

The minimum level of education required is:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Other Qualifications

Outside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include:

  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance
