Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking a self-starter highly motivated Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination Field Service Representative, for the ATHENA-R Program. This position will interface with the U.S. Army OCONUS SIGINT and GEOINT Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination team and assist in troubleshooting application and network issues on the U.S. Army ground architecture network.

*** This is a full-time OCONUS position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Assist in diagnostics and troubleshooting of ground network architecture
  • Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting to determine if failure is network based or PED Application based
  • Interface with ground network architecture maintenance team and assist as needed to resolve network issues
  • Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues between airborne network architecture and ground PED network architecture
  • Have a strong understanding of Linux systems administration
  • Have a strong understanding of light scripting (bash/python)
  • Have a strong understanding of sensor operations and PED applications such as EPED, SCEPTRE, FUSE and enterprise applications
  • Working knowledge of DoD Encryption devises such as KG-250 and KG-175
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor 

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Fluent in the Korea language (verbal and written)
  • 5 years of experience in the IT and Network Engineering field
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in the IT and Network Engineering field (if applicant doesn’t have relative degree)
  • Strong SIGINT and GEOINT background
  • Security+ CE Certification
  • Microsoft Azure/Cloud Server Fundamentals
  • ITIL V4 Foundation
  • Have a strong understanding of Joint Military, Multi-National Military operations in the INDO-PACOM theater of operations
  • Be willing to work in austere environments
  • Be willing to relocate to South Korea full time
  • Strong people skills and a professional customer oriented approach 

 Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field. Relevant experience can be substituted for education requirement

 Clearance

  • DoD Top Secret//SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph required
