MAG Aerospace is seeking a resourceful, highly skilled and motivated Power Platform & MS365 Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams. This role requires expertise in automating workflows, integrating systems, and optimizing business processes using Power Platform tools. The developer will also be responsible for ETL processes using Power Query and Power Pivot, as well as user training, documentation, and customer engagement.

 

***Requires a current Top Secret security clearance. A CI Polygraph will be required within 6 months.***

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Power Apps and Power Automate to automate business processes.
  • Design, develop, and support solutions within SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
  • Configure and optimize Power Automate flows for process automation and system integration.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data using Power Query and Power Pivot.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Power Platform application issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Engage with customers to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and offer ongoing support.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Conduct user training sessions and provide technical support as needed.
  • Stay up to date with emerging Power Platform and Microsoft 365 technologies and best practices.

Minimum Requirements

 

Knowledge and Skills

The required skills and knowledge include:

  • Proficiency in SharePoint Online development and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams app development and integration.
  • Experience with Power Query and Power Pivot for ETL and data transformation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Excellent customer engagement and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive learner with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

The minimum years of related experience required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing solutions within the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).

 

Education

The minimum level of education required is:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

 

Desired Requirements

 

The desired skills, knowledge, and education include:

  • Experience working in a government or classified environment.
  • Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps, Dataverse, and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of security best practices within Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Experience developing and implementing automation scripts and workflows.

 

Other Qualifications

 

Outside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include:

  • Top Secret/SCI security clearance 
  • Be able to successfully pass a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination in the future

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $170000 to $200000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
