Property Specialist

MAG Aerospace is seeking a multi-skilled Property Specialist to join our team. The Property Specialist will directly support Product Lead Strategic Spectrum Warfare (PL SSW) on all matters related to property management.

 

US Citizenship Required

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Coordinate property transfers of equipment to customers.
• Coordinate the turn-in of equipment from customers.
• Perform acceptance inspections of items to ensure quantity and items are not damaged.
• Operate pallet jack, forklift, and other warehouse equipment to move and transport materials
• Build and assemble packages for shipment.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Generate Property documentation.
• Learn and operate Army Enterprise Resource Planning Tools.
• Prepare HAZDECS as required to support materiel shipments.

Minimum Requirements

 

Knowledge and Skills

• Obtain Hazmat Certification to support the handling and shipping of hazardous materials within 18 months.
• Microsoft Office Skills: Understanding of Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams.
• Experience in warehouse operations including equipment receipt and shipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to work independently to address a range of issues while managing time effectively.
• Must possess strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
• Must have strong communication skills and an ability to read and interpret plans and instructions.
• Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.

 

Clearance

• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Education

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent

 

Other Qualifications

 

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Physical requirements for the job include:
  • Must be able to lift/carry/push/slide up to 75 pounds routinely.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 5 days a week.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $0-$90,000.00 package for employees.
