Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking to bring on a Technical Intern in Tinton Falls, NJ. This position is for an in-school or newly graduated technical individual with the basic skills required for a Technical Intern.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • RF signal flow testing
  • Software procedure execution and document markup
  • Fiber & Cabling Power Installations & Cabling (AC/DC power connections/terminations) 
  • Troubleshooting 
  • Equipment Installations 
  • Decommissioning and removal of equipment 
  • Updating asset inventory records 
     
    All above have equal weight - dependent upon the required work assigned for the day 
     

Percentage of Travel Required: 0-10% 

Requirements

Minimum Requirements 

 

Knowledge and Skills 

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite - particularly Excel
  • Ability to read schematics (ex:  Visio/CAD) 

Education 

  • Specialized trade, vocational or technical training beyond high school  

 

Other Qualifications  

  • Must have the ability to lift 75lbs unassisted
  • Able to climb ladders up to 10 Feet

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $15 hourly (USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
