Position Summary

Primary point of contact for Customer interaction on Falcon I Mission in Colombia.  Be able to speak educationally to Leadership on all capabilities Program wide and how to best utilize the Program’s assets in a foreign country.  Must have intimate working knowledge of ISR employment capabilities in South America.  Ability to work with Site Leadership on the Program to understand Sensor tasking and requests received from Supported Units

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Liaise for communications and operational tasking of program aircraft
  • Monitor asset status during flight operations and relay information between the flight crew, airspace controllers, customers, and other relevant parties
  • Assist in the organization, planning, and execution of ISR operations
  • Facilitate administrative processing of personnel in and out of theater
  • Review customer requirements and develop sensor plan for aircrew
  • Utilize mapping tools and specialized software to create products and pre-flight briefings for detailed mission planning and dissemination
  • Provide first phase analysis of LiDAR and SAR data when collection exceeds standard analytical capacity  
  • Maintain program specific PED records.
  • Live and work in Bogota, Colombia for periods of 60 to 90 days at a time

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

 

Education and Experience

  • Five (5) years of relevant experience in Department of Defense (DoD) Aviation ISR operations
  • Working knowledge of mapping tools and product creation software to include but not limited to google earth and the MS Office suite
  • Ability to communicate concisely and directly in oral and written (including electronic) presentations
  • Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
  • High School diploma or GED

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with four (4) additional years of equivalent military experience is highly desired
  • Experience with LIDAR/SAR aircraft sensor operations is highly valued and weighted
    • Buckeye
    • ALIRT
  • Knowledge of Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) operations and the Intelligence Cycle
  • Experience with LNO positions supporting US government customer within dynamic environments
  • Spanish speaking
  • Microsoft Office (Excel) proficiency 

Other Qualifications

  • Candidates hired for this position will be subject to a post offer, pre-hire, pre-deployment medical assessment
  • Candidates must always remain qualified for international travel
  • Candidate should expect to be hired on a probationary period for the duration of his/her first OCONUS rotation
