General Manager

MAG Aerospace is seeking a proven leader in aviation to fill the role of General Manager for our Maintenance and Integration Facilities. 

This position oversees all aspects of the administrative functions associated with the performance of aviation Maintenance and Integration to include ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance while managing staff, budgets, and strategic planning.   

This position reports directly to the Vice President of Technical Integrations and works alongside the Accountable Manager. 

Duties include, but not limited to:

Operational: 

• Oversees daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient maintenance operations.  

• Maintains a safe operating environment by adhering to and implementing all processes and procedures of the QMS.  

• Ensures promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.  

• Continual Improvement  

Safety and compliance: 

• Interface with MAG Safety Officer, ensuring proper implementation of company and OSHA requirements.  

• Oversee administration of organization Safety, Hazard, Emergency Response Procedures.  

• Participate in and contribute to Internal Audits of AS9100D, FAA Part 145, and FAA Part 21 operations. 

Strategic Planning:  

• Work closely with VP and Programs Manager(s) to develop and implement growth initiatives. 

• Ensures expansion/growth trajectory is maintained through comprehensive Risk and Opportunity Management.  

• Maintains customer focus based on current and future capabilities.  

Minimum Requirements

Required:  

• Must possess a professional degree in Aviation Administration, Aviation Maintenance Management, or can demonstrate a minimum of 10 years as a leader in an Aviation Maintenance organization.  

• Relevant Managerial experience in a related field.  

Preferred:  

• FAA Part 145 Repair Station Operation 

• Ability to obtain a security clearance 

• Ability to travel for job related functions
