Duties of this position will include the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) of the following systems:
This position will travel to the listed different locations and correct all equipment outages along with an applicable outage report to be provided to the affiliated AMO branch/unit.
Outages are defined as an unplanned interruption(s) that result in loss of communication to any MILSATCOM radio sites.
This shall include:
Normal business hours technical support via telephone
Coordination of repair services for MILSATCOM assets
Corrective Maintenance – onsite within 48 hours of notification of outage
Preventive Maintenance – one (1) annual visit per site per year
Experience:
Minimum 4+ years of experience as a SATCOM Communications Technician
US Military or commercial electronics training and experience concerning:
PSC-5D Tactical Radio.
ARC 210, ARC 182 UHF/VHF Communications Systems.
ARC-210, RT-1824(c) SATCOM, HQ, and HF/VHF integration.
COTHEN, Cellular Over-the-Horizon Enforcement Network.
URC-200, Line Of Site Transceiver
