MAG Aerospace is currently bidding on a contract to provide flight training support services for the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASAOC) We are seeking highly qualified Air Movement Specialist I (Loadmaster II) to support USASOAC’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (160th SOAR) and the Special Operations Aviation Training Battalion (SOATB).
Duties include, but not limited to:
Plan, develop, coordinate, instruct, and administer loadmaster operational fixed wing air movement for the 160th SOAR. The Contractor shall provide instruction to military personnel in the loading/unloading transport aircraft and vehicle movements in/out of CONUS/OCONUS locations.
Serve as a SME for Unit Movement Operations for ARSOAC and subordinate commands.
Analyze loadmaster requirements, mission essential tasks, individual unit tasks, conditions, and standards. The Contractor shall develop operational concepts, recommend procedures and processes for air movement, and monitor plans and programs to conduct Army Special Operations, Air Force Special Operations and Joint Special Operations air movement.
Assist in the certification and standardization of aircraft load plans.
Work with staff in reviewing or developing policy and directives pertinent to airlift program management, objectives, and responsibilities.
Draft policies and procedures for the Regiment and obtain approvals necessary to implement revised or new air movement directives of higher
headquarters.
Determine quantity and type of cargo to be loaded IAW allowable aircraft cabin load.
Inspect aircraft cargo to verify proper documentation, packaging and marking.
Conduct site surveys to arrange airlift missions and support for personnel and aircraft.
Operate government motor vehicles and equipment.
Be responsible for the control, reporting, use and maintenance of DOD- owned and controlled ISO containers and equipment.
Be responsible for the control, reporting, use and maintenance of DOD- owned and controlled 463L pallets and aircraft equipment.
