Position Summary

MAG is looking to bring in a dynamic, energetic Warehouse Apprentice to join our team. As Warehouse Apprentice one would be responsible for helping Project Manager Electronic Warfare and Cyber (PM EW&C) stand up a new warehouse facility in one of their buildings located at APG, MD.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Learn and operate Army Enterprise Resource Planning Tools.
  • Sort, store, and coordinate the issue of equipment to customers.
  • Coordinate the turn-in of equipment from customers.
  • Perform inspection of items to ensure quantity and items are not damaged.
  • Operate pallet jack, forklift, and other warehouse equipment to move and transport materials.
  • Build and assemble packages for shipment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain clean and safe work area.
  • Generate reports.
  • Obtain Hazmat Certification within 18 months.
  • Prepare HAZDECS as required to support materiel shipments.

Minimum Requirements

 

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • US Citizenship
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Must have strong communication skills and the ability to read and interpret plans and instructions.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write with proficiency; and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work independently to address a range of issues while managing time effectively.
  • Must possess strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.

Clearance

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Education  

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

Other Qualifications

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time; up to 8 hours per day up to 5 days a week.
  • Must be able to lift/carry/push/slide up to 75 pounds routinely.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Secret Clearance
  • Bachelors degree
  • Vocational training or certification is a plus.
  • Experience in warehouse operations including equipment receipt and shipment.

The projected compensation range for this position is $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
