Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is hiring for a FMS Resource Specialist – Mid Level with current SECRET clearance for The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Joint Program Office (JPO) in Arlington, VA.

 

This position provides program analysis and project support to the Manpower Management Team indirect support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and coordinates directly with FMS points of contact within Naval Air Systems Command, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center and Air Force Security Assistance Center to assist the Manpower Management Lead and FMS Case Managers in establishing and maintaining FMS manpower billets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Supports the initiation process for outlining manpower for direct FMS case and admin funded support, and initiation of required documents to establish required billets.
  • Maintains the internal Human Resource information system which is used as a manpower database similar in content and intent as PeopleSoft in support of the FMS Team.
  • Knowledge and experience in the coordination and development of FMS manpower requirements packages.
  • Experience in developing and managing formal task management processes and toolsets.

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum of Five (5) years’ experience in Federal human resources and/or manpower positions.

 

Education

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.

 

Clearance

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (or eligibility to obtain Secret Clearance within a prescribed timeframe)

 

Desired Requirements:

  • Possesses self-initiative, and the ability to work independently performing duties and leading execution of tasks to completion
  • Superior communication skills (oral and written). Demonstrated ability to succinctly brief project status, associate risks, and proposed solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products to specifically include: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook (to include advanced formulations and reporting techniques)

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $100k to $130k (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
