Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is hiring for a UH-60 Avionics Mechanic Supervisor (AMS) to support a contract we are bidding on concerning a US Army’s Security Assistance Training Management Organization (USA-SATMO) training team’s support to the Lithuanian Air Force (LTU AF).

 

The overall team will be comprised of both Pilots and Maintenance subject matter experts with a tentative timeline for action on this program of mid-May 2025 with multiple option years to follow on.

 

The work location is primarily at Siauliai Airbase, with potential alternate Lithuanian locations.

 

All Infrastructure concerning living (apartment, cars, flights etc) will be provided by MAG Aerospace and is currently being developed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Conduct training (including classroom academics and hands-on demonstration) of LTU AF maintenance personnel with focus on the skills of a U.S. Army 15N Avionics Mechanic
  • Plans, develops, conducts, evaluates and coordinates specialized training courses for aircraft specific systems concerning repairing, replacing, troubleshooting and performing operational preventive checks and alignments on aircraft flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics and controlled cryptographic equipment.
  • Researches, assesses, and confers with management and customers representative, or other personnel as necessary to determine training needs.
  • Evaluates and updates training programs to evaluate effectiveness of training.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Certifications/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Served in the U.S. Military.
  • Must have Five (5) years of experience of overall experience supervising helicopter maintenance programs.
  • Must have experience as an Avionics Section Supervisor with experience in repairing, replacing, troubleshooting and performing operational preventive checks and alignments on aircraft flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics and controlled cryptographic equipment.

Education:

  • Graduate of a U.S. Army Avionics Mechanic Course (MOS 15N)

Security Clearance:

  • Secret clearance (able to obtain a secret clearance)

Other Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Must possess or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Passport.
  • Must possess or be capable of obtaining a Lithuanian Visa.

Must provide proof of the following:

  • Military Service, (DD Form 214).
  • Possible other service / UH60M maintenance related certifications

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $200,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
