Position Summary

MAG is seeking an Apprentice-level Systems Analyst self motivate to SERVE, WIN and PERFORM! This role supporte the US Navy (NAVAIR) Regional Multi-domain Awareness Capability (RMAC) program.  We are seeking a dynamic individual that aid in the installation of sensor systems both in CONUS locations and OCONUS locations and exhibits an inquisitive nature towards troubleshooting RF systems operations and maintenance.  This individual will be involved in the build-up and testing of systems and system of systems (SoS) in the test lab prior to installing these systems out in the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

 

  • Assist in installation of Automatic Identification System (AIS) receivers and antennas, radars, Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B) receivers and antennas, security cameras, surveillance cameras, VHF/HF communications sets, microwave communications systems, satellite communications systems, etc.
  • Supports the installation of domain awareness systems that include workstations, servers, and monitors, generator sets, renewable energy systems, routers, networks, encryption solutions, cross domain solutions, etc.
  • Assist installation of sensor systems requires conducting work on towers and buildings and could involve the use of heavy equipment for site preparation.

Minimum Requirements

 

Knowledge and Skills

 

  • Must have basic understanding of computer systems and network administration.
  • Must have a general understanding and the ability to install/troubleshoot some of the following types of systems: VHF/HF communications systems, video systems, radars, AIS, ADS-B, and microwave communications systems and satellite communication systems.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products, to include Excel, Project and Visio, to develop system architectures.

 

Education

Currently seeking or new graduate of a 4 year Engineering Program 

 

Desired Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical degree  
  • IT certifications such as Comp TIA, Security +, CCNA, 
  • Secret clearance 

 

Other Qualifications

 

  • Must be Eligible to Obtain a DoD security clearance
  • Must be a US citizen  
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Passport and available for short term OCONUS travel
  • Percentage of Travel Required: 0-25%

The projected compensation range for this position is $50000 to $60000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
