Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is recruiting for a potential Systems Engineer position to be awarded in October 2024 concerning a US Navy - Regional Multi-domain Awareness Capability (RMAC) program.

 

This position will mainly apply systems engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate multi-domain awareness systems in remote international locations, subjected to extreme environmental conditions for continued improvement and maximum effectiveness in real world applications. 

 

This Position will work out of PAX River NAS.. Patuxent River, MD AND Will Deploy when needed

 

Expect 2-3 week deployments at a time

 

Expect to deploy approximately 10 times

 

This position will be salaried and pay will NOT depend on how many deployments are made and additional $$$ added to specific deployment parameters

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties:

  • Review and prepare system engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. 
  • Apply system engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. 
  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate automated data processing software related to engineering or functional requirements of multi-domain awareness systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
  • May act as team leader or supervisor developing engineering procedures and controls, managing project efforts, and taking the lead in problem resolution.
  • Interfaces with system or program contractors, vendors, and government representatives regarding the technical aspects of both the software and hardware components of the entire system.
  • Because of extensive knowledge of the system may perform duties as a trainer.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Experience: 

  • A minimum of 5 years of systems engineering experience performing the foregoing systems engineering functions listed above.
  • A background in computer programming is required

Education: 

  • BS Degree and experience in engineering, computer science, math or physics disciplines.

Clearance:

  • TS/SCI

The projected compensation range for this position is $80000 to $120000 (annualized USD).
