Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is hiring for a Contractor Field Service Representative (FSR) on KING AIR Platforms  

 

The FSR shall provide knowledge and technical experience to support the maintenance of the King Air platforms assigned to the Panamanian National Aeronaval Service Personnel where they shall be familiar and capable of:

  • Replacing all major parts and components on the aircraft
  • Assessing & assisting with airframe and power plant issues
  • Troubleshooting avionics associated to the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems. 

**Must be Bi-Lingual - Fluent in Spanish and English**

 

Place of performance for this position is at Panama Pacifico Airport - National Aeronaval Service of Panama (SENAN) Air Group Hangar 2

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Capable of performing and providing instruction on all maintenance, inspections, and repair/replacement of all major components/subcomponents on the King Air platforms
  • Interfaces with USSOUTHCOM and USMILGROUP Security Cooperation Office (SCO) and foreign government representatives regarding the use of local logistical infrastructure.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the existing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) inventories.
  • Contribute with maintaining high aircraft availability rates through providing technical support, advising, and assisting Panamanian National Aeronaval Service Personnel. 
  • Research technical data and provide clear communications, direction and instructions to the Panamanian National Aeronaval Service Personnel on maintenance tasks.
  • Develop, prepare, and deliver reports in relation to the work and status of work being performed.
  • Attend meetings with the customer and take detailed notes to report back to your supervisor.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements
Experience:

  • Must be Bi-Lingual. Fluent in Spanish and English, capable of providing verbal and written support/instruction effective in both languages.
  • 10+ years aviation maintenance experience
  • 6+ years maintenance experience on twin turboprop aircraft
  • 4+ years maintenance experience on King Air platforms
  • QC and PC experience

Certifications:

  • FAA A&P License

Education:

  • High School Diploma

Security Clearance:

  • Secret or ability to obtain a secret security clearance

Other Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Possess or ability to possess a U.S. Passport
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Panamanian Work Visa
  • Proficient with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Must be medically fit to deploy.

The projected compensation range for this position is $160,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
