Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is currently looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to help support its corporate enterprise environment.    The ideal candidate will have experience in Microsoft security tools to include Sentinel, Purview and Windows Defender for Endpoint as well as 3rd party endpoint solutions CrowdStrike Falcon and Ninja One RMM.    The candidate will interface with all members of the engineering team to ensure systems are maintained at the required security baseline. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to

  • Design, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft based cybersecurity systems to include Sentinel and Purview.
  • Experience designing and implementing technical solutions to enhance visibility, alerting capabilities, and reduce risk within Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and M365 environments
  • Configure and manage conditional access policies to control access based on specific conditions, locations, and device compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and troubleshoot IAM-related issues, ensuring solutions are secure, compliant, and scalable
  • Understand and implement security best practices for Azure products, services, and solutions
  • Utilize Azure Sentinel for monitoring, creating alerts, and developing automation scripts for incident response
  • Provide production support, responding to and resolving security incidents in a timely manner
  • Establish and maintain identity governance frameworks, including privileged identity management (PIM) for elevated access.
  • Stay informed of Azure updates, security threats, and industry best practices to enhance security posture
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of NIST 800-171 compliance requirements.
  • Hands on operational experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g. NinjaOne RMM,, Kace), including the ability to architect, deploy, configure and operate
  • Provide management with incident response support, including mitigating actions to contain activity and facilitating forensics analysis when necessary

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (4 years) in Cybersecurity or equivalent education via trade or technical school

 

Desired Requirements

Experience working with federal civilian or DOD personnel, including geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders.

Security related qualifications : Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+, SC-99, SC-400 or  SC-200
