Position Summary

The PM is required to provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the TO, including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall TO performance. The PM is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the TO, including both technical issues and business processes. The PM shall have authority to commit resources of the prime contractor’s organization and decisions for the contractor’s organization in response to Government issues, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic and resource limitations issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • The PM is required to provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the TO, including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall TO performance.

  • The PM is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the TO, including both technical issues and business processes.

  • The PM shall have authority to commit resources of the prime contractor’s organization and decisions for the contractor’s organization in response to Government issues, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic and resource limitations issues.

  • Perform management consisting of planning, contracts execution, evaluation of employees, selecting subcontractor(s) and managing subcontracts.
  • Conduct schedule management including task/activity definition and sequencing, resource estimating, task duration estimating schedule development, and schedule control activities . 

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • A minimum of two years of experience managing projects and/or programs with OCONUS performance locations. 

Education

  • The minimum level of education required is: BS degree in Management or similar field.

Desired Requirements

  • Experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing the contractor’s proposed

    methodologies and approach for a project or program similar in scope and complexity

    to this TO.

  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language capabilities at the +2 level on the DLPT or equivilant.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Past experience supporting South America, specifically SOUTHCOM AOR.

Other Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must posses a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
  • OCUNUS travel as required.
