Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking an Asset Manager to provide support to and Army Project Manager at the O-6 and O-5 level as required. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

 

The Asset Manager: Performs property management tasks associated with the fielding of Mounted Mission Command (MMC) systems to Army units.

  • Is responsible for tracking and forecasting all past, current, and future fielded tactical equipment within the PdM MMC portfolio.
  • Maintains, tracks, and archives all MMC equipment and kit configurations. Kits include all vehicle installation kits on various US Army tactical vehicles for tactical radios.
  • Coordinates and assists with all MC procurement actions to support Material Fielding and labs.
  • Will establish and implement all processes to track all MMC equipment to include DD250 acceptance, MCIF stock, fielding stock, and loans to other organizations in order to maintain total asset visibility.
  • Will track and complete paperwork for temporary (DA 2062) and permanent (DA 3161, DPAS, GARMY) property transfers to internal and external organizations.
  • Is responsible for adherence with Army Regulation 700-142 Material Fielding regulation in the execution of fielding activities.
  • Ensures that all property accountability discrepancies are properly reconciled and that property books are properly maintained.
  • Facilitates Bi-weekly/weekly meeting with PM MC stakeholders from the RMD fielding team, RMD product support team, PdM MMC and MCIF to ensure there is open communication and issues/concerns are addressed. Meeting minutes will be posted after each meeting outlining open action items.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience and training on Army Property Book Management and Army Regulation 700-142.
  • Familiarity with US Army Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSR) to include Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Logistics Management Plan (LMP), and Global Command Support System-Army (GCSS-A).
  • Experience with US Army Material fielding of C5ISR systems.
  • This position requires familiarity with US Army tactical formation in support of the US Army Campaign Plan.
  • Knowledge of maintaining inventories and experience forecasting high distribution of systems fielded to many different types of tactical unit formations and platforms.
  • Proficiency with computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and databases.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% as needed.

The minimum years of related experience required:

  • Minimum seven (7) years'''' relevant experience and understanding in the field of acquisition logistics and sustainment support.

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, an additional seven (7) years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.

 

Other Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen and possess a Current active DoD Secret Clearance.
