Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking a professional Test and Evaluation to join the Project Manager Cyber & Space (PM C&S) team located in Hanover, MD. In this role the Test and Evaluation Specialist will plan and execute Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities in support of Developmental and Operational T&E.

 

This is an opportunity to be involved in the newly formed PM C&S organization and be a part of the rapidly growing Cyber Infrastructure Product Office responsible for key capabilities within the offensive cyber operations world-wide. PM C&S delivers critical capabilities to counter current and future threats, enabling the next generation of cyber warfighting capabilities. By applying game changing cyber technologies through agile development methodology, we enable battlefield dominance for our Warfighters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Leads and participates in system-level technical and operational testing for software-intensive systems.
  • Support the development of Developmental and Program Test Plans and Test Reports.
  • Support the development of acquisition documents (Test & Evaluation Strategy (TES), Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and other documentation described in DoD 5000 series (specifically DoDI 5000.87) and AR 73-1.
  • Support Integrated Product Team meetings.
  • Review and provide feedback on Contractor Test Plans and Reports.
  • Coordinate Developmental, Program and Contractor Test events.
  • Participate in Operational Test planning activities.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

 

Knowledge and Skills

 

  • T&E experience with systems under Developmental and Operational Test Oversight
  • Familiarity with T&E policies and procedures described in DoD 5000 series and Service specific T&E policies.
  • Familiarity with analyzing program requirements for testability.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes.

 

The minimum years of related experience required:

  • 6 years progressively complex experience in the Testing & Evaluation of software-intensive systems, especially related to tactical C4ISR, EW and Cyber systems.

 

Clearance

  • Minimum requirement is active TS DoD Clearance with ability to attain an SCI

Education

  • Bachelor’s BA/BS in Business or Technical Field. Four (4) additional years of related experience will substitute for Bachelor's degree

Desired Requirements

 

  • Active TS/SCI
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work on multi-functional teams.

 

Other Qualifications

 

  • Ability to work in office and lab environments.
  • Ability to travel 25%
