Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is currently in the business development / proposal stage and is hiring for a SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER to support the GLOBALCAP - Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) - (Successor effort to the AFRICAP III IDIQ contract)

 

Overall support will capture future work across the Department of State (DOS) with the goal of reducing duplication and increasing administration concerning professional services - e.g., training, mentoring, and monitoring services, logistics support services, equipment procurement and construction services to organizations. 

 

This position will require the signing of a Contingent Offer Letter of Employment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for all issue resolution, program management, and other contract support including providing comprehensive account support for the GLOBALCAP contract.

  • Government’s primary POC

  • Provide overall leadership and guidance for all Contractor personnel

  • Perform management consisting of planning, contracts execution, evaluation of employees, selecting subcontractor(s) and managing subcontracts
  • Conduct schedule management including task/activity definition and sequencing, resource estimating, task duration estimating schedule development, and schedule control activities 
  • Develop and execute project plans and conduct integrated change control activities
  • Manage project scope to include project initiation, scope planning, scope definition and scope change control activities  
  • Conduct cost management to include resource planning, cost estimating, budgeting and cost control activities  
  • Support organizational planning, project team acquisition, and staff development activities

Requirements

Experience:

  • 15+ yrs as a Program / Project Manager. 
  • 10+ yrs managing training, equipment, logistics, property management, and construction services required to support countries around the world with a focus to sub-Saharan Africa and regional organizations with the ability to scale globally.
  • 10+ yrs experience managing multi-stakeholder programs/projects for Federal Government clients in an austere/OCONUS environment, DoD and Dept of State preferred
  • 5+ yrs serving as the central point of contact with the Government for all program-wide technical issues with responsibility for overall contract performance
  • Conversational fluency in French. 
  • Ability to travel to OCONUS/austere performance locations.
  • Ability to engage with clients to lead opportunity shaping, pre-proposal capture actions, and all tasks or activities required to position MAG from opportunity qualification through proposal submission and award.

Certifications:

  • PREFERRED -  Project OR Program Management Professional (PMP) / (PgMP) certification

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Security Clearance:

  • Secret
