MAG Aerospace is bidding on a Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) effort and contingently hiring for multiple experienced Avionics Field Engineers who have good knowledge, usage and logistical understanding of APS-145 Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs).
The place of performance for this position is:
The Field Engineer shall provide technical assistance to Contractor personnel in isolating and identifying causes of failure and applicable repair.
An agreement is in place with the U.S Navy (USN), which allows this representative to be utilized for non-CBP work on a noninterference basis.
Duties of this position will include the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) of the following systems:
Receiving incoming APS-145 Radar Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs)
Inducting WRA’s into the repair cycle.
Tracking WRA’s through their repair cycle and assisting USN technicians as required.
Monitoring the Quality Assurance of the completed repairs.
Shipping ready for issue assets to their required destinations.
Providing trend monitoring and asset documentation.
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 4+ years as a Field Engineer covering and logistical understanding of APS-145 Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs).
Minimum 4+ years of experience as an Avionics Intermediate Depot AIMD Avionics Technician.
Education:
Minimum High School Degree
Aircraft Avionics School / Course Graduate
Clearance:
SECRET Active/Current
