Position Summary

The successful candidate is familiar with FAA, EASA, and other relevant industry regulations. Understands safety protocols, risk management, and accident prevention programs. Must have excellent communication skills to foster effective communication with internal stakeholders and customers. Ensure adherence to the programs Statement of Work (SOW) to provide data-driven metrics for decision making and progress tracking. The candidate will have experience in creating detailed budgets considering labor, materials, and other direct costs. Monitors program costs throughout the lifecycle to identify potential costs overruns or savings opportunities. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential risks and potential impact on the safety of OCONUS and CONUS sites. Develops proactive risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Collaborates with stakeholders to implement risk management controls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Prepare and completes action plans.
  • Implement production, productivity, quality, and Customer Service standards.
  • Completes audits to identifying trends to determine system improvements and implement change where necessary.
  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Performs flights as PIC or SIC with program personnel.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in aviation management.
  • FAA ATP or commercial certificate with BE-300 type rating.
  • Minimum of 4000 hours total time in which 1500 hours must be in the BE-300.
  • Current second-class FAA medical.
  • Current DoD Secret or higher security clearance.
  • Previous OCONUS ISR aviation experience.
  • Must be able to present and brief top-level managers and clients.
  • Must be results oriented and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

Education

  • The minimum level of education required is: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years related experience.

Other Qualifications

  • PMP (preferred)
  • MEI/CFII 

Duty Environment:

  • Be willing to work in hardship and hazardous locations.
  • Candidate should expect to be hired on a probationary period for a duration of six months. 
  • Willing to share billeting accommodations with multiple members.
  • Must adhere to all prime and company regulations as applicable.

Travel:

  • 15-20% or more during the course of the year.
  • Must maintain a flexible travel schedule. Travel which may include austere environments.
  • Be willing to travel for long periods of time, work long hours and / or non-regular hours with minimal notice.
